DELEGATIONS
Each year, we're proud to welcome passionate groups and individuals who've come to Nicaragua for a unique opportunity - helping build sustainable communities by participating in projects from our three core program areas or tailored initiatives.
Roots of Change and our Nicaraguan sister organization, FUNDACCO, work together to provide unique delegation experiences. Groups can get involved in existing projects or we can help them build their own tailored project. We can recommend a tailored project, or you can take some inspiration from our previous projects and propose your own.
Travel to Nicaragua is the responsibility of group members, but once you arrive our team will be on hand to accompany you and work with you throughout your stay. We will assist with finding accommodations at nearby hotels for convenience, or you may also wish to get firsthand experience with local customs by living with host families.
For those interested participating in our existing projects, we provide full support from logistics to guidance so that your entire experience is as fulfilled as possible - simply contact us if this interests you.
If you would like to propose a tailored project, Roots of Change and FUNDACCO evaluate proposed tailored projects to make sure they meet critical criteria such as community/individual needs, cultural awareness, travel convenience and availably of equipment and supplies. Once approved, our team will present your group with an estimate on cost breakdowns and help bring your vision into fruition.
